8.2.2001 - 30.7.2001 Kimberly-Clark Corporation Barton-on-Humber Plant, UK Interpreter/translator/administrator (full-time) for Czechs trained in UK as a
part of project Caesar 1. The whole 6 months took place in UK. I have mainly interpreted and translated manuals for electricians, maintenance
and engineers at the production lines. My job also included administrative duties concerning transportation, accommodation and organisation of training.
I have also worked as a teacher of English for those trainees interested in improving their language skills.
And what do the clients think of me and the services I can offer?
GALAXIE SPORT TV: Simon Polák translates extreme sports shows for our TV channel (surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, freestyle and freeride skiing, mountain bikes, aeroplane acrobatic shows,
cycling marathons, super truck races and many others). He has extensive experiences in these fields and his translations are on very high professional level,
which respects the given genre and focus of our TV station.
