HOW FAST CAN I TRANSLATE?
I always try to deliver the finished project in the shortest possible time.
Generally said, the guaranteed amount to be translated in one work day is approximately 8 norm pages. Delivery of the project is always
influenced by the format of the input file. If the translation is in electronic form, then the translation is faster.
Input file in printed form or on videotape of DVD always slows the translation down a bit.

LANGUAGES
I offer only Czech and English languagaes so far. I mainly translate from Czech to English, especially in case of
preparing English localization of websites and media monitoring.
I also co-operate with other translators and hope to offer more language combinations in the future.
WHY HAVE I CHOSEN TO WORK AS A TRANSLATOR AND INTERPRETR?
Translations and interpreting is a great way of making living. One never gets bored and each new project means I learn something new
and every new project is another challenge.
One of the examples could be interpreting for Kimberly-Clark in UK, thanks to which I am an "expert" on diapers and the process used to manufacture them
(and I am learning more about practical application of nappies right now :-). Another example could be the project of localization internet website Yasmin. This project
helped me to find out more about the older and the new contraception methods and the way they influence female organism.
Each new project is a new challenge for me and I can only quote one of my clients and his description of interpreting and
translations as "mental gymnastics".
